  • WIP Wednesday

I have been knitting a lot lately. So much that my arms and such are kind of sore from it. I have finished 2 pairs of socks lately, started another, frogged it, and started yet another. On to the good stuff, the pictures.

Here are the finished Broadripple socks in Trekking Pro Natura. The yarn was nice enough to work with. It made a gorgeous pair of socks and feels really nice on, or so I hear. They seemed to take forever because the yarn is very thin. But very nice combination of yarn and pattern. Jake took these socks. He wore them for 3 days straight! I think he likes them.

These are in my favorites thus far for yarn and pattern. The pattern is Fawkes and the yarn Heritage Cascade. I love, love, love both. I am very pleased with the results.

Finally, we have the beginnings of the Annetrelac pattern. The yarn is Panda Soy. The sock is no longer. I wasn't in love with it so I frogged it. It looked cute and all, but I wasn't feeling it. But I learned how to do Entrelac.

I have started on a new pattern with the frogged yarn called Nagini. Another Harry Potter inspired pattern that I couldn't resist trying. I have no pictures yet. And I have only done the toe for one sock so nothing exciting to show for a pattern yet. That will come next week.

Whew! That took time away from my knitting. Better run, those needles are waiting!
